Life
long artist E.L.Downey has studied spirituality,
symbolism and magic for over 20 years, continually attends spiritual gatherings, lectures and workshops, and is an initiated member of the WOLF CLAN Teaching Lodge circa 1992.
For a number of years E.L.Downey studied at Shamandalas Studios creating Amulets and Talismans for transformation, which led to a deepening awareness of magical symbolism, and more than a decade of mythical mask making. E.L.Downey has created museum
quality masks for Ritual, Hollywood film, and for
Oscar award winning Artist and Author
of the Necronomicon, H.R.Giger.
E.L.Downey has
studied Visionary art with renowned artist, Alex Grey at Omega Institute
for Holistic Studies, and also gives thanks to
the Center for Symbolic Studies, Dr. Billy Bardo, and Duncan
Eagleson, for their creative encouragement and guidance while walking
between the worlds.
